Senior Nexus Sync stick in hardness 77 with a length of 62". Nexus Sync builds on its predecessor Nexus Geo. Rather than a revolution, however, Bauer's designers bet on evolution β they kept the best of the Nexus Geo model and added several useful improvements to the Nexus Sync hockey stick.
The senior version of the Nexus Sync hockey stick weighs only 365 grams, making it 25 grams lighter than the Geo model. The incredibly low weight has been achieved using the new ACL 2.0 technology - a thinner and higher quality layer of carbon is used on the inside of the hockey stick. The lower weight will help players finish faster as well as send lightning-fast passes. The Nexus Sync stick also boasts a better feel for the puck. This is thanks to the new Connect Tech technology, which perfectly dampens vibrations when you receive a pass from a teammate. The magic lies in the extension of the bandage layer, which stretches from the middle of the blade to the shaft of the hockey stick.
The Nexus Sync model differs from its predecessors in one more way: in both the senior and Intermerdiate variants, the stick is slightly longer. The designers extended the club in response to feedback from players across elite competitions. For senior hockey sticks with flex 77 and 87, expect two 2 inches more lengths.
