ACL (Advanced Carbon Layering)

The use of lighter carbon layers than in the 1N model allowed more of these components to be used in the production of the 2N PRO hockey stick blade. More layers also mean greater intertwining of individual carbon fibers, which leads to improved shock absorption that the blade faces during the game.

The main benefit of this design is the reduction of the weight of the blade while maintaining its durability. The lighter blade reloads faster - it stretches during the shot and thanks to that the puck flies out of it much faster.

In a laboratory comparison with the 1N model, it was measured that the 2N PRO stick shoots 15% faster on a hammer shot and 12% faster on a swing shot.

R-LITE blade system

An innovative way of blade construction, where the harder core of the blade, which is very good for shot speed, has been coated with a special ultra-light foam with a rubberized reactive layer, which softens the blade, which improves its puck handling properties. If we put all these individual parts together, we get a great blade that is light, fast to shoot and at the same time the player has an excellent feel for the puck.

DURAFLEX adhesive

An innovative type of adhesive used on the shaft of the hockey stick, which not only has great properties supporting durability, but now also has a positive impact on the bend of the hockey stick, which is a unique feature that cannot be found on any competing hockey stick. A better bend of the stick gives the player a faster and harder shot.

Just like on the Nexus 1N, the 2N PRO stick is made of a truly single piece, i.e. Monocomp technology, which maximizes the transfer of energy from the shaft to the blade.

Of course, the top Bauer models, including the 2N PRO hockey stick, use the patented Textreme® carbon, which is 20% lighter and 20% better at dealing with the impacts that the stick faces during the game compared to the 12 K carbon used in the top models of the competition.

The Nexus hockey stick series, led by the top model 2N PRO or formerly 1N, is characterized by its versatility and excellent shooting properties, regardless of the position of the hands on the shaft. This is achieved by the Sweet-Spot shaft technology, which is designed for efficient energy transfer from the spring to the shot, which also responds to the lower position of the hands during the shot.
